There once was a man from my past
Who turned out to be such an ass
Did I say that out loud?
In front of this crowd?
At least I’m free now at last.

Happy timezones, Friends! This is something I wrote the other day that is just plain silly, I know. Turns out, I haven’t written a limerick since 2019 (please see the link embedded below. It’s about chicken lol). It’s about time I tried that again, right? Or maybe I should give limericks up. LOLOL 🤣😂
Thank you so much for your patience as I catch up with comments. I love reading what you said, and I can’t wait to add my thoughts.
Anyway, thank you so much for reading, liking, lurking, and commenting! I hope you have a terrific weekend!

I love the typewriter scene; it takes me back 🙂
Thank you so much. 🙂
You just don’t know LOL
LOL 😀
Limericks are a fun way to let off steam. Happy Sunday. Allan
Hi, Allan! I know that’s right! 😀
LOLOLOLOL! Yes that was loud and clear.
Haha! I’m not sure that’s a good thing. LOL
Oh yes it’s good! LOLOLOL
Ha-ha! I LOVE this!
Be careful though, a psycho ex was stalking my blog. One day I made the mistake of writing about him, how bat shit crazy he was because he made up lies about me. He saw the blog went off on me – using a fake name! Now I’m extra careful not to write anything bad about anyone. I feel like a “goody two shoes” but it’s better to be safe than sorry.
LOL I’m glad you liked it.
Yikes, how frightening that must have been. Good advice, my friend.
Thanks for the laughs! My brother used to write limmerick’s & sadly he’s not with us anymore, it was nice to read one again. Thank you <3
I’m so sorry for the loss of your brother. But I am glad you were able to laugh at this silly limerick. Wishing you the best. xo
Without realizing it I arrived here and with a smile I left.
Nice to read you, Kymber Hawke. 🤗🤗
I’m so glad you arrived here! 😀 It’s so nice to meet you. And glad you left with a smile.
LMBO! 😂😜🤣 Too cute! Love it Chickie Pot Pie! 🥰
Hahaha I’m so glad this made you laugh. 😀 🤣😂
🤣😜😂
Ha ha ha. That was great. Thanks for starting my day with a smile, Kymber.
LOL You are welcome. I made you smile and my work here is done. LOL 😀 😀 I hope you had a good day, Diana.
Loved the limerick, Kymber – thanks for the laughs!
LOL Thank you so much, Teri. 🙂
Hi Kymber, I thought this was great. It gave me a smile.
LOL Thank you so much. I’m glad you enjoyed it. 🙂
She wanted to call him an ass,
But face-to-face time had past…
So she tried
To keep it inside,
But—ALAS!

KEEP GOING HONEY—you’re doing great! <3
Oh my goodness, Jonathan, this is terrific! ❤ How wonderful that you wrote this to me. I thank you so much. 😀
Does it pass? 😀 <3 <3
LOL Yes, for sure. 😀
Thanks. 😀
I loved it!
Thank you so much, Ann. I’m so happy you liked it.
In barracks where soldiers convene,
marching proud, uniforms keen,
with courage so bold
in stories untold
they stand firm, their duty unseen
Wow! That is wonderful!! I’m impressed by how meaningful it is. Thank you so much for sharing this with me.
Keep them coming, Kymber, a limerick is always so much fun! Here in France we also celebrate November 11th, in memory of the 1918 armistice that ended World War I. So hubby was on duty, with all the medals and stuff, he is so handsome in uniform. And my son, who is stationed in Corsica, was also on celebration duty for the first time this year. He’s waiting to see if he’ll get deployed overseas, he’s working on helicopters, so I suppose he’ll soon be off somewhere I’d rather not want him to go…
I bet your hubby looks so nice with his medals! I wish the best for you and yours, especially for your son. xo
Great! I love limericks, and I hope you’ll do more!
Thank you so much, Inge! These seem to hit me randomly, but I will definitely post them as the come. 😀
Love the limerick.
Thank you so much 🙂
ha ha are those Rhinos?
LOL I believe so. I kept asking the Mister if using the pic was a step too far. LOLOL
It was perfect
LOL I’m so glad, thank you.
Loved this entire post. Also seeing the rhinos backside, then reading the limerick gave me a much needed laugh!
Thank you so much. 😀 I’m so glad you laughed at this. I kept asking the Mister if the rhino pic was a step too far. LOLOLOL
Ha ha that was funny. Some people leave us with bad memories and lessons.
LOL Thank you, Thomas. 😀
Yes, that is certainly true.
This was very cute. See, the only limericks I know involve a girl from Nantucket!
Thank you so much, JC. 😀
LOL That’s so funny.
My other limerick is a Nantucket one but it’s clean and about chicken. LOLOLOL
You can find it here: Limerick #1
LOLOLOLOL!!! This was hilarious. 😀 Yep, I’ve known people like that. Limricks are fun to write although I haven’t written one in a super long time. Sheesh! You’re making me want to come with some silly ones now. 😀 😀 😀
Thank you, Nise. You should write some! Get silly, gf! 😀
Yes, I should, and I totally plan to. It’s so fun to show off my goofy/crazy side. 😀 😀
I want to see what you come up with. 😀
Love it, Kymber!! The limerick made me giggle! Thanks for the nod to our veterans!
LOL I’m so glad I could make you smile, Jan. LOL
You’re so welcome. Our son-in-law is in the service. Whenever he’s deployed, we put our yellow ribbon on our biggest tree. xo
A lovely limerick, Kymber. I couldn’t find the swear word. (you don’t mean ass do you? If it is I gotta quit calling people that to their face.) An excellent veterans thank you.
LOLOLOL OMG you have me rolling right now. 🤣😂 See, I didn’t have the warning on there, but The Mister said I should add that in case there are children reading. 😀 I never know whether to put warnings on my writing or not. 🤷🏽😂
Kids have worse words.
You are probably right about that.
😊
Thanks for the smile! 😆 Lovely Veteran’s Day tribute. 💖 We have a similar occasion here, called Remembrance Day.
LOL I’m glad you smiled at this. 😀 A Canadian friend and I were talking just yesterday about the similarities between Veterans Day and Remembrance Day. Thank you so much for the link. I love to learn! 🙂 😀 xoxo
Thanks for my morning smile with your cute rhyme and it felt to me like I could hear your chuckle.
LOL Yes, indeed, a chuckle was definitely there. 😀
Silly limericks are reasons to smile 🙂
LOL Thank you, Dave. 🙂
There once was a writer named Spinner.
Did you know all she wrote was a winner?
She shares all her joys,
We cheer with happy noise!
Oh, hooray for Kymber Story Spinner!
Awww… CT, that is so lovely! Thank you so much! xoxoxo
Happy Veteran’s Day, Kymber.
Thank you, same to you. 🙂
Happy Veteran’s Day to you, too, Kymber!
