Silly Limericks with Kymber #2

There once was a man from my past
Who turned out to be such an ass
Did I say that out loud?
In front of this crowd?
At least I’m free now at last.

Happy timezones, Friends! This is something I wrote the other day that is just plain silly, I know. Turns out, I haven’t written a limerick since 2019 (please see the link embedded below. It’s about chicken lol). It’s about time I tried that again, right? Or maybe I should give limericks up. LOLOL 🤣😂

Thank you so much for your patience as I catch up with comments. I love reading what you said, and I can’t wait to add my thoughts.

Anyway, thank you so much for reading, liking, lurking, and commenting! I hope you have a terrific weekend!

  1. Ha-ha! I LOVE this!
Be careful though, a psycho ex was stalking my blog. One day I made the mistake of writing about him, how bat shit crazy he was because he made up lies about me. He saw the blog went off on me – using a fake name! Now I’m extra careful not to write anything bad about anyone. I feel like a “goody two shoes” but it’s better to be safe than sorry.

  2. In barracks where soldiers convene,
    marching proud, uniforms keen,
    with courage so bold
    in stories untold
they stand firm, their duty unseen

  3. Keep them coming, Kymber, a limerick is always so much fun! Here in France we also celebrate November 11th, in memory of the 1918 armistice that ended World War I. So hubby was on duty, with all the medals and stuff, he is so handsome in uniform. And my son, who is stationed in Corsica, was also on celebration duty for the first time this year. He’s waiting to see if he’ll get deployed overseas, he’s working on helicopters, so I suppose he’ll soon be off somewhere I’d rather not want him to go…

  4. LOLOLOLOL!!! This was hilarious. 😀 Yep, I’ve known people like that. Limricks are fun to write although I haven’t written one in a super long time. Sheesh! You’re making me want to come with some silly ones now. 😀 😀 😀

    1. LOL I’m so glad I could make you smile, Jan. LOL

You’re so welcome. Our son-in-law is in the service. Whenever he’s deployed, we put our yellow ribbon on our biggest tree. xo

  5. A lovely limerick, Kymber. I couldn’t find the swear word. (you don’t mean ass do you? If it is I gotta quit calling people that to their face.) An excellent veterans thank you.

    1. LOLOLOL OMG you have me rolling right now. 🤣😂 See, I didn’t have the warning on there, but The Mister said I should add that in case there are children reading. 😀 I never know whether to put warnings on my writing or not. 🤷🏽😂

    1. LOL I’m glad you smiled at this. 😀 A Canadian friend and I were talking just yesterday about the similarities between Veterans Day and Remembrance Day. Thank you so much for the link. I love to learn! 🙂 😀 xoxo

  6. There once was a writer named Spinner.
Did you know all she wrote was a winner?
    She shares all her joys,
    We cheer with happy noise!
Oh, hooray for Kymber Story Spinner!
