Hello and happy timezones, kind friends! I have greatly enjoyed your responses to my Get to Know You posts!
So, it’s time. Come sit on my porch for a spell. Tea, lemonade and refreshments will be served shortly.
Here are 3 questions! Let’s go!
Round #41:
- What are you grateful for today?
- What’s your favorite kind of weather?
- What’s your take on dressing up pets in costumes?
Here are my answers:
- My sisters.
- Sunny, but cool; Autumn weather.
- I had a little Pomeranian once and dressed him in sweaters during the winter. But we don’t dress our cats or anything. We value our lives. LOL
And now, it’s your turn! If you don’t want to participate, no problem! I’m just glad you’re here. A hello would be fantastic, though! Of course, lurkers are always heartily welcome, too. xo
Thank you so much for reading, liking, lurking, and commenting! You are important!

Great answers girlie!
Thank you, Bella! 🙂
You’re welcome
Love your answers as always Kymber! ❤️ Hope all is well your way!
What are you grateful for today? The sleep that I got…finally! Also, the cooler weather.
What’s your favorite kind of weather? Fall (real fall, not Florida fall) 🍁 with a cool chill in the air, you can breathe in the freshness.
What’s your take on dressing up pets in costumes? I’ve done it a time or 2 with the dogs who don’t mind as much. Cats?! 🤣 🐈 🐈⬛ hmmm…does a bow-tie collar count for my tuxedo? Hehe 😉
Thank you, Laura! I’m glad you enjoyed my answers. I hope all is well with you, too.
YAY for getting some sleep finally! ♥
It’s snowing here today. I love the freshness, too.
Yes! That totally counts! 😀
Thank you so much for playing! Happy Thursday!
Hi! https://melissalemay.wordpress.com/2024/11/16/get-to-know-you-41/
I know it’s late, but I’m going to your site now to read your answers!
What are you grateful for today?
I’m grateful for my children, and family. It’s also pizza Saturday 😉
What’s your favorite kind of weather?
Rain/Thunderstorms and also the kind of winter weather where big wet snowflakes seem to dance down under the streetlights!
What’s your take on dressing up pets in costumes?
A clear nono! Except for the kind of dogs that don’t have fur enough for cold weather.
Who wouldn’t be grateful for pizza Saturday? 😀
I love watching a good storm. Oh and the snowflakes in the streetlights. Beautiful!
I agree with you, my friend.
Thank you so much for playing! Happy Thursday!
Right now, today, for this blog because you reminded me to be grateful for something today.
Anything from about the 3rd week of September until the first snowfall. Gray, rainy and cool with lotsa leaves.
I’m not crazy about it. But I don’t have any pets so I shouldn’t comment.
That’s wonderful! Call me “Pollyanna!” LOL 😀
Yes to lotsa leaves! That is great!
Thank you so much for playing! Happy Thursday!
Hi Kymber!
1) I am grateful for my hubby and our health. We’re in pretty good shape for older folks
2) I love cooler weather and the fall season
3) I’ve never dressed my cats. I know some animals don’t mind it but our Callie is not one of those. 😹
Hi, Eugi!
1) That’s lovely. I’m so glad for you. 🙂
2) Yessssssss, that is awesome weather.
3) I think mine would fight to the death if we ever even tried it. LOLOL
Thank you for playing and have a wonderful Thursday!
Always a pleasure to join in, Kymber! 💗
That makes me so happy! ♥
I can’t imagine cats would take kindly to dressing up. 😆
My answers:
1) I’m grateful for my husband and that we are both in relatively good health for a couple of old farts.
2) Favourite weather would be 75 – 85 degrees and sunny, with low humidity.
3) Unless it’s meant for warmth, to keep the rain off, or for medical reasons, I don’t like the idea of making pets wear anything.
LOLOL Right? It’s so true. 😀
1) That’s wonderful!
2) Yes to low humidity!
3) That’s totally understandable.
Thank you so much for playing! Happy Friday!
Woot! Thank you! I’ll be right over!

Hi, Fandango! I’m heading over to your site now to see your answers!
What are you grateful for today? The efforts I’ve taken to lose weight seem to be working and working well.
What’s your favorite kind of weather? Clear, with gentle breeze and mild temperatures.
What’s your take on dressing up pets in costumes? No. Just no. Some pets may like it, but I’ve seen too many that just have the look of “Why are my owners subjecting me to this humiliation?” It certainly isn’t something I would ever do.
That’s wonderful about your efforts in losing weight. I’m so happy for you.
That sounds good to me!
Oh I know what you mean. lol
Thank you so much for playing! Happy Friday!
Here I am Kymber!

Oh! I think I just saw you! Thank you so much! xo
Hi there! Thanks for playing! I’ll be right over to see your answers. 🙂
I am grateful for my afternoon with the Wheelie One.
Either early spring when it is sunny and warm but not too hot, and everything is coming into bloom, or the tail end of autumn with all the yellows and browns. I quite enjoy walking the dogs early evening at this time of year as the low-level fog in the park gives a Hammer film vibe.
Not a fan. I once tried to put a Christmas sweater on Missy-Dog, and she looked as miserable as sin wearing it.
I would love that Hammer vibe, too! So cool!
Awwww. Well at least you knew how she felt. That’s a good thing. She sounds like a cutie.
Thank you so much for playing! Happy Friday!
What are you grateful for today? There is currently a surge in new volunteers joining Citizens Climate Lobby. I am on the welcome committee so it is a lot of work, but I am grateful for all the new members.
What’s your favorite kind of weather? Sunny and around 70 to 80 degrees, like today. Except when we go skiing in Colorado, the I want it cold.
What’s your take on dressing up pets in costumes? Our mini-Australian Shepherd was a vampire/Dracula for Halloween. He is OK with dressing up as long as you don’t put a hat on him. He hates hats. So we don’t put a hat on him.
Hi, Thomas!
That is wonderful! What you do is very important, and I’m so glad you’re seeing a lot of new volunteers.
That makes sense!
I bet he was a cute little vampire! So sweet.
Thank you so much for playing! Happy Friday!
Lol about valuing your life! I doubt a cat would let you dress them up anyway! My dog barely let me dress him in a christmas hat!
LOL Right? hahaha I bet that was cute!
i like water
rain and snow
just so
ty for the day lord
raking leaves
and making
a few baskets too!
That’s lovely. I love your poetic responses.
Thank you so much for playing! Happy Friday!
Very interesting answers.
I’m grateful for my cats who keep me company as I write.
I love autumn when the weather starts getting crisp.
I’m not one for dressing pets up unless they like it and are happy to.
Thank you, Esther.
Cats are wonderful beings to be thankful for.
Me, tooooooooooo.
That makes sense to me!
Thank you so much for playing! Happy Friday!
I’m grateful for many blessings but I thing good health is at the top of the list.
My favorite weather is sunny warm days and cool nights.
We do’t dress our pets but I enjoy the clever costumes on other’s.
Good health is everything, I agree with that.
When those cool nights roll in, it’s so nice.
I do, too. lol
Thank you, John, for playing! Happy Thursday!
😁
I missed doing this while moving. Here goes:
Being alive
A cool breeze gently blowing autumn leaves with a clear blue sky
I don’t like it anymore than they do.
I’m glad you’re here, KC.
For sure. That is a terrific reason to be grateful!
Yesssss, that is the best!
LOL Good point!
Thank you for playing! Happy Thursday!
1) My recent personal growth
2) Tie between mild spring days (if there’s no pollen) and thunderstorms.
3) Against, unless it’s putting a sweater on to keep the dog warm on a cold day. Too much of it nowadays seems to be solely about the pet owner’s vanity and need for attention.
1) Wonderful! That’s definitely something to be grateful for.
2) That’s lovely. I do like thunderstorms. Except the other night a tornado touched down 2 blocks over from me. Everyone is all right, thankfully.
3) That’s a good point. Sometimes dogs need some help staying warm.
Thank you for playing! Happy Thursday!
Lightning I can live with. Tornadoes are a definite no go, lol.
I can understand that! LOL It happened so fast, our siren didn’t even go off.
Today I am grateful for love. The kind of love that is able to even love those who are perceived (or perceive me) as “enemies.” I could write a long time about this (and sometimes do in my own blog). I pray, daily, that I can be a person who loves like this.
Real fall weather is my favorite. Cool (not cold) temperatures, and I even like a cloudy day with a slow, gentle rain.
I don’t personally dress my pets in costumes, but don’t object to others who do it. Loki the cat (loki.doestricks on Instagram) apparently brings costumes to his owner and asks to have them put on himself.
That’s wonderful, Jeff. May we all strive to love that way.
Same! Autumn is the best. We’re getting into some pretty gray skies here right now.
I love Loki the Cat! LOL Isn’t that funny that he wants to be dressed up? I love it!
Thank you so much for playing!
