Happy timezones, my dear friends! Let me start by saying how much I appreciate you and your efforts to read, like, comment, and lurk here.
I had to change themes, and I don’t know if I have a setting wrong, or what is happening, but when I hit the “reply” button in the comments, nothing happens. It’s frustrating because I don’t want you to feel as if I don’t care when you take the time to leave your beautiful comments.
Because of this, I was not able to answer all the comments I received over the weekend. Weekends are difficult for me to get online because we do so much family stuff. So, my thinking was that if your comments were no longer in my notifications, I could go to the article proper and answer there.
Then, the “reply” button would not work.
Please know that I will keep trying, and that if I did not respond to your comment, it’s simply that I am unable to at this time.

WordPress is always full of surprises Kymber. Just when we think we have it all figured out, WordPress does a subtle change and kerflouie, it all goes to H. They changed the location of the sticky setting, they changed the reader button position, they changed the way links must be entered, they changed the text underline and I still have not figured that one out. Hopefully all will be right soon. In the meantime, have a great day. Allan

I have this problem on my education blog and have to go into ‘Comments’ on the backend of the blog and answer that way. Works but is annoying!

No worries! I doubt anyone would think badly about unanswered comments, since life gets busy for everyone, sometimes. The Jetpack comment form can be glitchy, which is one reason I don’t use it, Have you tried responding to comments through the wordpressdotcom reader or the Jetpack mobile app? Those might work when all else fails. Hope all will be resolved soon!

WordPress has the ability to hatch a glitch in an instant. My rule is to wait 24 hours and it usually clears up. (BTW I wasn’t surprised when you didn’t answer my request for a loan.)

Well I’m not sure about comment reply problem, but I have subscribed to your blog 3 or 4 times and never get a notice. I’ve subscribed again today and maybe this new theme will like me 😊
