I hope you’re having a wonderful week, Kind Friends! And I also hope the month of August was good to you!
In my neck of the woods (the Great Lakes Area in the US), it’s been hot and humid, but then we had some days in there that felt like an early Autumn. How has it been for you?
Well, without further ado, here is my progress for August:

I really want to read all of Jacqui Murray’s books!

What did you read in August, and what was your favorite?
What did you watch, and what did you think about it?
August was a great month at our house, and our daughter and son’s houses. We celebrated Mom’s birthday with a big BBQ and both my sisters were there.
I had to take July off, and so, I didn’t read anything. I’m not worried about being 6 books behind in the Reading Challenge. I know I will make it up here and there as I go along.
May your day, and the month of September, bring you blessings and joy!
Thank you so much for reading, liking, lurking, and commenting! You are important!

Woot! π xo
You read some great books, Kymber. I have also read a few in August. I’ll be posting my reviews soon.
Thank you, Robbie. Can’t wait for your reviews! πΈ
Thanks, Kymber
Quite a collection of books and shows Kymber. I must admit to being stuck in the Outlander series. I have finished the books up to date and am now reading the “bulges” (as Diana Gabaldon calls her novellas). All very interesting and so much more detail than the series. I also read the Silo series which I could not put down. Vastly different that season 1. As to TV, Emily in Paris, Only Murders in the building, Find Me Falling and The Union, as well as continuing to rewatch Cheers. Happy Wednesday. Allan
Both my sisters are caught up with the Outlander series. They like them, but I was the baddy who watched the show instead. LOL I think I would enjoy the Silo series.
I just started watching this season of “Only Murders in the Building.” I love that show so much. It will be in my Sept. Reading-Wrap Up.
Happy Wednesday, Allan! πΈ
We watch so many of the same shows/movies, Kymber. After finishing The Umbrella Academy season 4, I started all over again with season 1. I also finished House of the Dragon and Evil. The 1985 Fright Night is always a favorite.
I’m kind of mad at The Umbrella Academy for putting “Baby Shark” in my head. Although, that was hilarious. LOLπ€£π
What did you think about how Evil ended? I’m curious.
Fright Night 1985 is always a go-to kind of movie when we don’t know what to watch. lol The Mister really likes Silver Bullet, too.
Happy belated birthday to your mom, glad the BBQ turned into a huge success. How to sell a Haunted House is a catchy title.
Thank you, Dawg. πΊ She had a great birthday and we had fun, too.
How to Sell a Haunted House got me with the title. It’s a pretty good book.
Happy Monday!
Thanx for letting me know that, have a great day today my friend.
You, too. πΊ
You rock! And read. Summer is just about to really start here.
Thank you, Cindy! πΊ I can’t stop myself. LOL
How nice! I wish for you a happy Summer!
59 books. You may be behind your schedule but you are ahead of me.
LOL Thanks, Thomas. I’ve been slacking. lol Actually, it’s because the month of July was off-kilter. But I’m not worried about the 6 books. I think I can make that up over time. π
Happy reading! πΊ
I’ve temporarily stopped reading books, but another blogger gave me an interesting tip for a book that resembles my short story prompts with the Great Dane. I’m pretty curious about perhaps trying to read that one. The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks. No idea if it turned into a movie, but I’d watch it if I could find it.
That’s interesting. I don’t know if that has been made into a movie or not. But I would watch that one, too. I hope, if it is out there, you get to see it soon. πΊπΈ
Me too! I actually found the book yesterday evening as an audiobook, so I bought it and started listening to it. So far it’s really good. It’s gonna take maybe 2 weeks to finish if I listen a bit each day.
That’s great that you found it and got it! I really like Nicholas Sparks. He’s written some good ones. I hope you continue to enjoy it. πΊπΈ
I laughed at the title, “How To Sell A Haunted House.” I bet that one was entertaining. Thanks for sharing, Kymber!
That titles grabbed me right away, too, Jan. LOL It’s pretty good. Happy Monday!
You always recommend such good ones! Ooooh I love love love Bill SkarsgΓ₯rd, canβt wait to see those! Looking forward to seeing what they do with the Joker movie too. Glad your weather is taking a bit of a turn. It may be about 1-2 degrees cooler here π€£ Iβm enjoying the rain, though. Happy Sunday π©·
Thank you, Laura! πΊI love Bill, too, and also can’t wait to see those. I’ve heard The Crow isn’t very good, but I reserve my judgment until I actually see it. I’m looking forward to the joker movie, too. We’ve had a lot of thunderstorms lately, but I like watching the lightning on the sunporch. lol Happy Monday! πΊπΈ
Happy Monday! Iβm off too, wooo π π©·
YAY! Woot woot! π
Well done.with the reading… More than I’ve read lately. Love the shows you want to watch. π
Thank you, KC. It’s good to see you. It helps that some are audio books because I can put my phone in my apron pocket and listen while I work. πΊ
Right on target. Happy reading! Happy Labor Day.
Thank you! Happy reading to you, too, and a very happy Labor Day as well. πΊπΈ
You read a lot! Love that I’m on your TBR list, Kymber. I hope you love my series.
Hi, Jacqui! I sure do! π
Your books are outstanding! I really do love the trilogy I read and I am planning on reading another one in the very near future. πΊ
You read a lot π
That’s the truth! lol Thank you for stopping by, Jean! πΊ
Very intriguing choices, and you definitely read a lot! I wonder if I’d like something from your list. I might look for these books and give them a try π
