No Theme Thursday - Poetry

Little Hands

Little Hands

Little hands at play,
Pots and pans sing joyful tunes,
Drumsticks dance and sway.

    1. Hey, that works for me as long as she’s happy. 😀 I never cared how much noise my children made as long as they were playing nicely with each other. 🌺🌸

  1. Well, that takes me back. When I was younger, my Mom would often give me a pot and wooden spoon to entertain me and keep me out of her way in the kitchen. Not sure the din was any better than the interruption of my questions. Happy September Kymber. Allan

  2. One of the gems in childhood for me was my spirit of adventure and its supporting resourcefulness. I used to turn my dreams into reality. Your little boy with his ‘drums’ reminded me of my growing up in the African wilds, where improvising was the order of the day. Thank you for tickling my memory Kymber.

  3. Ha ha great little poem and picture too. I remember those times. We lived in an apartment in Sweden and my wife had been traveling with our oldest son who was 1 1/2 years old at the time. He was jet-lagged and up at night. It was 2:00AM and he was playing with pots and pans when our neighbor from upstairs knocked on our door. He was a British gentleman who asked with a very British accent “are you moving furniture?”. I said no, it is just our son playing with pots and pans, but I’ll get him to stop and I did.

  4. Awwww, what an adorable haiku to match this cute image KymberNoodle! 🥁 Talk about eye/hand coordination and not on a Smartphone either! 😜 Have a wonderful day sweetie pie! 🥧

      1. Thanks so much my sweet KymberNoodle. I am going to make the best out of my weekend and I know that you will too! Big hugs and smooches my friend. 🌞🙏🏼🥰💐🙆🏼‍♀️

          1. Bless you KymberNoodle. 🙏🏼 Never give up your FANtabulousness! That’s just how we roll. Try not to have a CATastrophe this week! LOL 😺😹😸 Big hugs and plenty of smooches! 🤗💖😘💋💐

  5. Awww 🥰 so cute! Had the same thoughts as the comment above, a little drummer boy in the making! Haha 🤣 well done as usual, Kymber! 🩷
