Binx and Max are enjoying the back of the couch where they often curl up together. They play hard and they like to wrestle. Usually Binx is on top. They love those little springs you can get for cats, a ball they like chasing, and many other toys.
These boys are so floofy!
I tried to get a picture of Josie-Pye, but she is always on the move, so just when you think you’re getting a perfect pose, she sticks her tail up in the air and then she runs away in a blur. Her tail looks like a question mark. lol
Anyway, it would have been better to include her in this post, but alas, I couldn’t swing it.
Now onto the strange flowers… It’s weird.
When we buried Cesare in the garden, we planned on planting pretty orange flowers, although we hadn’t chosen what kind to go with. We wanted orange because he was our ginger cat.
A few weeks ago, The Mister went outside to work on the garden (it’s in rough shape right now), and he noticed something (please don’t look at our weeds):
Can you even believe it? This is Cesare’s grave! We did not plant those and we’ve lived here for a few years and have never had flowers there!
We don’t know what they are, but we were amazed by their beauty. We had a moment of reflection as we thought about Cesare.
Mom, my sister Kari, my daughter Katy, Bee and I all thought maybe they were poppies? If you know what they are, I’d so appreciate you telling me.
The Mister said a bird probably dropped some seeds there or something. I’d like to think, though, that it was a special miracle to ease the sorrow of Cesare’s passing.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I am looking forward to hearing from you. π
β¬ Sidenote: I’ve been asked how to pronounce Cesare’s name. It is pronounced like CHEH-za-reh although I know some people prefer this pronunciation: Sey-SAA-Rey. We actually called him Chezzy, Baby Boy, and Buddy a lot. lol. You can hear Cesare pronounced in Italian here: How to Pronounce Cesare (Italian). β«

Awww they are so cute
Thank you, Belladonna. I love these boys so much.
I know you do, they are so cute!
Aww your cats are very cute. I would guess those flowers were poppies too. What a lovely surprise.
Thank you so much. It was an awesome moment. π©· I’m glad to know they are poppies.
I’ll have more kitten pics soon! π πΊ
That’s so cool, Kymber! It’s so special!
Thank you, Dawn! I think it’s special, too.
Cesare will always be a big part of your lives, and this is yet another chapter to add to his legacy. Love this, Kymber!
Thank you, Bruce, for your encouragement. I believe you are right. And I’m glad you enjoyed the post. πΊ
Could it be you confined in someone else abut your flower wish and they surreptitiously planted these flowers in your honor? It sounds like a chivalrous act from a man.
Well, yes, I imagine so. Many people knew about it. The kids deny it, and so do the neighbors, but that doesn’t rule everyone out. π I like that thought, thank you. πΊ
lol π Sheldon from βBig Bangβ came to mind when I reas that!!! Thatβs his song his mema sings him when heβs sick!
Your cats are adorable!!!
LOL! That’s where I got it from!πΊπ©·π π I did some research and found it was an old nursery song of sorts.
Thank you. They’re growing so fast!
Yes you these amazing kitties . You saw flowers in your garden. Anita
Thank you, Anita. It was such a special thing that happened.
They look like poppies (which symbolize, peace / sleep / death) – it is really amazing!
I love the universe sometimes!
Linda xox
Thank you so much, Linda! I’m so pleased to know what poppies symbolize. It all seems to make sense. π
How lovely to have flowers grow without expecting them. It is surely a sign from above π
Thank you. I thought so, too. πΊπ©·
How amazing, Kymber. The flowers do look like poppies.
Thank you for confirming this. Because this happened, I have felt a lift in my spirit. πΊπ©·
Yes, it is wonderful.
πΊπ©·
The flowers are poppies and maybe Cesare’s way of saying hello. I love poppy flowers and should have a whole border full soon. Happy Thursday Kymber. Allan
Poppies are so pretty! Thank you for answering, I really appreciate it. I’d like to think, too, that they are from Cesare. I think having a border of poppies would be beautiful! Happy Thursday, Allan!
Your kittens are SO adorable! π₯° The flowers in your garden do look like poppies. Has Cesare worked some magic from the great beyond? What a lovely remembrance!
Thank you so much, Debbie! It’s good to know what they are. π©·πΊ One wonders. π I’m so glad you thought so, too.
Absolutely wonderful, cute kitties <3
The flowers on the picture are poppies π
Thank you so much! I’m glad that you told me. The kittens are so sweet. π©·πΊ
π That is beautiful Kymber and yes, they look like Poppies to me…
Hi, Lorrie! So good to see you! I’m so glad to know. Thank you. π©·πΊ
π
aaaaw….such cuteness to those two, Kymber..

Thank you so much, Destiny. π©·πΊ

Thank you so much! You are awesome, and I’m glad you enjoyed the post and subscribed.πΊ I would love to take a look at your site and subscribe as well!
I think you will be pleased π
Yes, you are right about that. I’m so glad we met.
Freaking adorable!!! I just wanna hug ’em and kiss ’em! π
Thank you so much! π©·πΊ IKR? I try to hold them all day but they like their play time. They find me when it’s nap time. lol
OK KymberNoodle, those flowers over Cesare’s grave are eerie as all get out! π I think Cesare is letting you know that he is okay and gave you flowers as an indication of his love to comfort you. So heartwarming my friend. Now, as far as that Max and Binx go, I don’t trust them! πΌπΉπΈ They look adorable when they are snoozing, but I think they are double trouble when they are awake!!! π€£ππ
Thank you so much, my Chickie! xo I’m glad you said that about the flowers and about Cesare. π©·πΊ You’re right not to trust them! LOL They’re big trouble, I tell you not! LOL They’re angels indeed while they’re asleep. But most of the time they’re knocking everything off of everything. lolπ They constantly have the zoomies, too. haha I love them so.
Honey, I can only imagine ‘Double Trouble’ on the rampage! They’re adorable, but I know they keep you on alert! LOL π€£πΉπ
LOL So true, ChickiePotPie. π©·πΊπ
π½πΈπΌ Chuckles!
What cuties. Kittens are such a riot, Kymber. And Cesare’s poppies are lovely. You know that poppies are the flowers for Memorial Day when we remember the fallen. How fitting for your sweet cat.
Thank you so much, Diana. π©·πΊThese boys are definitely a riot. LOL Oh my goodness! I’d forgotten that about poppies! Thank you for telling me.. π©·
π <3
Wow, Binx and Max sound like a dynamic duo! It’s always a challenge getting a good snap of pets in action, isn’t it? Josie-Pye’s tail antics sound adorable, though. As for Cesare’s unexpected flowers, what a touching tribute. They might just be nature’s way of offering a little comfort.
Thank you, Claire. π©·πΊIt really is difficult to get pictures of Max and Binx, too, unless they’re sleeping. I’m hoping Josie-Pye’s question mark tail means she is happy. lol I think you’re right about Cesare’s flowers. And it worked, too. Although tears were shed again, we were comforted at the same time.
They are poppies for sure. Such beautiful kitties…I am purring de felicidad!
LOL! π©·πΊπ Thank you so much for telling me. I’m not much of a gardener. I tend to kill everything I try to grow. My father=in-law, Pat, had such a green thumb. I admire people who can make beautiful gardens. π©·
They are indeed poppies! What a beautiful miracle.
Thank you, CT!π©·πΊI’m so glad to know for sure what they are. It really was a miracle, I’m sure of it.
We love poppies!!
We do, too, Mike!πΊ I’ve loved poppies since I was a kid, watching them on The Wizard of Oz. lol They’re just so vibrant and pretty!
Max and Binx are just adorable. And I agree with John – I think Cesare gifted you the flowers to let you know he’s okay and still with you. Bond is a big fan of those springs, and he’s lost his. You just reminded me I need to get some more.
Thank you, Teri. π©·πΊ They are sooo floofy! π
That’s a beautiful thing to say, and I appreciate it. I will read all the comments to The Mister. He will love to hear them.
I love that Bond loves the springs, too! LOL They are the bee’s knees according to Binx especially. lol
It’s probably easier to get more, than to move the fridge out to see if they’re under there. LOL I think I would buy more, too. Binx carries them from room to room. ππ©·πΊπ
And I thought you pronounced it Sazar
That’s interesting to know. We thought of that name as soon as we saw him. He looked Italian. haha π©·πΊ
That song always makes me think of βFriendsβ and the blonde who always sang it live at βThe Perkβ.
LOL It’s a cute song. π©·πΊ Thank you, Kim.
Adorable.π I wouldnβt care how the flowers got there. The fact they showed up, they could have shown up anywhere. I think with loved ones, things like that happen, letting us know we are forever connected.
Thank you. π©·πΊ Now that’s something to think about. It really did feel like he was there as we admired them and told our favorite stories about him. There are so many wonderful memories.
What a beautiful occurrence. That is a wonderful sign that your fur pet is letting you know he’s still with you. <3
Thank you so much. Even though it’s been months, I sometimes think I hear his meow, or that I see him in the corner of my eye. It’s such a weird thing. I had that happen to me when my cat Q-Tip did that, too. Thank you for your kind words.π©·πΊ
That’s because the body dies and the energy/soul lives on. Energy doesn’t die. All your furry loved ones are around you. These are signs they let you know. <3
That’s lovely. Thank you for telling me that. π©·πΊ
You’re welcome. <3
The kitties are so cute. I think Cesare gifted you with California poppies. At least that’s what they look like. They are a lovely gift.
Thank you, John! California poppies! Wonderful. I’ll hit google soon so I can learn more about them. I agree that it is a lovely gift. π©·πΊ
I could be mistaken but I lived out there for ten years and saw enough of them.
Ah, okay, I can totally understand that. π Most of my extended family have homes in California, Oregon, Washington, and Alaska.
π
The kitties are so cute and they look so peaceful when they sleep. Nature put flowers on Cesare’s grave, I suspect it happened when you loosened up the soil and old, dried out seeds got air and water. It’s perfect.
Thank you. I’m going to tell this to The Mister. It makes a lot of sense to me. He will like to hear this, I’m sure. π©·πΊ
Aww the sleepy little kitties – so cute! And, the beautiful orange flowers – so cool they appeared, and they do look like poppies! π
I just want to hug and hold them all the time, but they’re sooo active! lol They’ve cleared all our side tables and nightstands in their play. It’s pretty wild around. LOL
Thank you so much. Bee also thought they looked like poppies. I appreciate you telling me that. π
