Happy timezones, friends! I hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend and holiday! And I also hope the month of March was good to you!
And, Happy Spring! Finally, our snow is gone and at the moment I’m writing this, it is 44℉/7℃. I’ll take it! Windows open, fresh air, woot woot! 🖖🐰🌷👒
Okay, back to business…
Here is my progress:
I want to read more of the “Witches of Palmetto Point” series by Wendy Wang since I’ve read 5 of them. So far, there are 13 books in the series.
I would also like to return to the “Amelia Peabody” series by Elizabeth Peters.
I finished and enjoyed the pretty terrifying series by Lee Mountford: “The Haunted.” There are 8 books in the set.
Next up, though, I want to read Finding Me: An Estranged Sisters New Adult Romance Novel (The Defiant Sisters Duet Book 2) by Jacquie Biggar!

Some exciting movies are coming in 2024 like The Crow and Nosferatu with Bill Skarsgård, and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. Other movies I’m looking forward to are Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, A Quiet Place: Day One, Beetlejuice 2, Joker: Folie à Deux, and Wicked Part 1.
On a side-note, my daughter Katy-Lady and I time a lot of the series we watch so we’re watching them during the same days. That way, when something happens, we can quickly text the other or even call each other to talk about what we saw. It’s a lot of fun, and mysteries are our favorite, the more shocking, the better. LOL
What did you read in March, and what was your favorite?
What did you watch, and what did you think about it?
I can’t say that March was a great month. On February 28, we lost our dear cat, Cesare. He was so important to us, I cannot even put into words what kind of a hole he has left behind. Our Tortoiseshell cat, Josie-Pye seems okay now, and she sleeps with us almost every night.
Josie-Pye will still occasionally wander around the house, howling, and I wonder if she is still looking for Cesare. In the days after his death, she did this a lot; several times per day. We have a basket with all of her toys in it, and she still likes to take them out and stalk and kill them, then leave them on our bed. lol
The Mister and I spent a lot of time with family, which helped a great deal. Today is Easter Sunday, and we have been looking forward to this day for some time now. My parents, one of my sisters, her husband, and their daughter (my niece), our grown children and their significant others will be there. Of course, The 3 Littles will be there, and our son-in-law’s parents, who we adore.
May your day, and this coming month, bring you blessings and joy!
Thank you so much for reading, liking, lurking, and commenting! You are important!

Winter seems to be good for reading and viewing. Although, on hot days like we have been having lately, the result is the same. I see you have seen Dune 2. Was it as good as the first? Have a pleasant Wednesday Kymber. Allan
Thank you, Allan. Yes, both The Mister and I liked Dune 2. In fact we both agreed it was better than the first one. I hope you get to enjoy it soon. Happy Wednesday, Allan. 🌺
Once again Kymber I’m so sorry about Caesare, I know that pain! I know y’all hd a good time with the whole family over the weekend.
You are a SUPER READER and so motivating. I stepped up on my reading and this month I will be finishing a few more books.
I’m so sorry about Cesare, Kymber. We lost our Harley cat on my birthday in March. It’s heartbreaking to say goodbye to our fur-babies {{hugs}}
Thank you so much for giving my Defiant Sisters Duet a try- you rock!
I hope you enjoyed Pacific Rim. It’s one of my comfort movies and I always get such an adrenaline rush while watching it. I’m so sorry to hear about your kitty. I just lost one of mine a couple of months ago and it still very much stings. Sending you and your family love during this difficult time.
I am so very sorry about the loss of your beloved cat. I know how devastating this must be.
Hi Kymber, I hope you had a wonderful Easter, but I’m sorry to hear about your cat passing. That’s always so hard.
You’ve done a lot of reading, and there are so many great books out there! I have about 12 books lined up, but right now, I’m reading Barbra Streisand’s memoir. It’s almost 1,000 pages and a very heavy hardback, but I love her so it’s interesting. Although it’ll probably take me all year to finish it! LOL Anyway, happy reading and glad the weather is nicer for you! 💞🌷
I need to look into that Haunted series. I’m seriously behind on The Ones That Live and need to correct that. How did you like Dune 2?
24 books out of 100. That’s good. I only have 10 out of 50, three behind, but I will probably finish one today. In march I’ve read Survival of the Fittest by Jacqui Murray, a great book that I gave five stars, and Zodiak an eco-thriller by science fiction author Neal Stephenson, also a good book that I gave four stars. Well, that’s only two books, but as I said it will be a third one soon.
Sounds like a super Easter gathering, Kymber. You’ve done some excellent reading.
Hi Kymber, I hope you are having a very happy Easter. I am sorry to hear about Josie Pye missing her friend. Some lovely books in your line up, I also have Jacquie’s novel on my TBR.
Hey i have a good movie recommendation if you have Amazon Prime -its called The Visit. Have you seen it? It will keep you guessing til the surprise ending!
I recently read Tailspin by Sandra Brown and now I’m reading Sharp Objects.
Lots of good reading there for the month! I’ve just been re-reading for the ?? many times, the Maze Runner series. Still good. Saw the movie on TV too.
Sound like you and your family will be having a wonderful Easter Sunday! Glad the weather is warming up for you, too. 🙂
P.S. potential snow storm forecast for here later in the week 😜
Happy Easter, Kymber! I thought you weren’t going to be on this weekend? lol
That was a great run-down, Kymber. I’m more cozies than horror but I love how those grab you. And we’re both taken by Jacquie Biggar’s book!
Happy Easter, Kymber. May April be full of sunshine!
