Artistic fingers
Hold a pick for guitar
A goatee, a beret
And tattoos galore
Your mouth turned down
Sadness in your eyes
Time to sing a new song
And move on with your life
You strum the strings
You did not forget
How to play music
There’s still time yet
Past hurts cannot touch you
You play your Les Paul
The song is beautiful
It will give hope to all

That one is great, I think and get an impression that you know pretty well what musicians think about every now and then, this poem reflects something to that. Gibson Les Paul is a good guitar:) Great post, Smile on!
Thank you so much. 🌺 I know a little something about it. 🙂 I’m so glad you liked the poem. I’ve always liked the Gibson Les Paul, so I thought I’d try to write a poem around that. 😀
Knowing Les Paul Gibson is knowing what musicians think: Your poem is great 😃
Thank you so much. 😀 🌺
Well said Kymber. Music and words can take us away to someplace new, if we let them. Have a great Sunday. Allan
