A Christmas Poem

The holiday season is upon us
It should be full of cheer
But so many are suffering
And some are full of fear

It wouldn’t take much effort
To check on those you love
Let them know they’re important
That you hold them far above

Any excuses to ignore them
You must see it’s right
To tell them you love them
No matter what their plight

During this holiday season
We all buy many gifts
But some only need
You to close any rifts

Don’t let another day
Go by without a thought
Tell them you love them
It’s more precious than what you bought

Hello, Friends! I hope you enjoy this little poem. I also wanted to give you another update to let you know that Chapter 5 of Love’s Winding Road won’t be published until January 7th, 2023. I just need the extra time due to the holidays.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

  1. Thank you for sharing!!… your lovely poem says it all about what Christmas and the holidays should be about, being with others and sharing love, thoughts and memories, not necessarily the presents… 🙂

Hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas, the day and presents filled with love and happiness and hope you and your family have a wonderful New Year, each day filled with peace and goodwill and your path paved with love and happiness and until we meet again..
May your spirit only know peace
May your heart only know love
May all your dreams come true
May your life’s journey be filled with happiness
And life is all that you wish for it to be….

    1. You bet! I love Tumblr and have set mine up as a tribute to Judy Garland. I will follow you back, for sure!

I’m so glad you liked the poem, and yes, please tell all your family how much you love them. ❤️❤️

  3. Very nice, Kymber. And Merry Christmas! I am up in the mountains visiting my parents and though the weather is dipping into the 30s, there is no snow. Not a hint of it. But I have hope.

  4. Kymber, you have me in tears with this beautiful poem and timely message. The third and fourth lines especially rang true for me today. So relevant. This time of year is joyful for some yet anything but for so many. Hugs 💕🙂
