Hello, Friends! I’m writing about a decision I’ve made not to post in Love’s Winding Road this Saturday, November 26th. The reason being my husband and I are hosting the Thanksgiving meal on Thursday which is a huge to-do. Our family will all be here and it will be a large, loud day beginning with the Thanksgiving Day parade, the start of Christmas music, food, football, and merriment.
Then, I don’t know how many outside the USA know this or have this, but Friday is what we call Black Friday when some people go out, some as early as midnight, and begin their Christmas shopping. For that day, Mr. Hawke and I are taking the Littles to the Christmas Tree Farm to chop down the tree they choose, have hot chocolate, sing some carols, and put up and decorate said tree.
I expect to be extremely busy and I’d rather not put out a chapter that I just throw together last minute between cooking, baking, and making our home ready for the festivities. 😀
Thank you for understanding.
Love’s Winding Road will return the following Saturday, December 3, at 10 am (EST).
Much love to you all. Wishing you a week filled with blessings, family, and love,
