6 Year Blogiversary!

It’s hard to believe that just six years ago, I wrote a short chapter about an awkward girl who didn’t know anything about life, had just lost her parents, and was trying to navigate the crazy world around her with the help assistance pushing of her older sister, Keniesha.

Remember these two?

Little did I know that my story, Noble Doubt, would catch on with loyal readers who wanted to know how Memphis Noble would succeed (or fail) at life! Would she end up with womanizer Garrett Covington? Or the more stable Liev Capra? Who were her real parents by the way and how did she end up in the Noble family?

Well, we know the answer to the first question anyway…

Remember the double wedding Memphis and Keniesha decided on?

Those were the days! lol

How about when Mango disappeared because my game crashed and burned (and because that meteorite hit my house twice, killing him both times!). It wasn’t until Generation 3 that we found out whatever happened to him, but you hung in there to find out regardless.

I could go through every generation and fill this post with so many pictures your page will never load because there are reasons why I love each and every one. The truth is, I can’t decide which pictures I want to put here since there are so many that bring back great memories. Not just of the story, but of you and your engagement.

Your support these past years has meant so much to me. Even though most of us have never met, I feel like I know you, at least to some degree.

Noble Doubt is nearing its end, and I think that’s one reason I have had trouble getting chapters out. In a way, even though it will be a huge accomplishment to have written ten generations of this family’s story, I don’t want to see it end. It’s a huge part of my life and there are times when it’s all I can think about.

Tell you what, though, let’s not think about endings on this celebratory day. Instead, let’s remember the good times, and how much fun we’ve had together.

On that note, who was your favorite heir, and why? As always, I’d love to hear your opinions. Which storylines were memorable to you? Inquiring minds want to know!

Thank you for reading, liking, lurking, and commenting,

Okay, here are some pictures anyway! I can’t help it! You can click on them if you like to see them in full view.

  1. Wait, this has spanned over 10 generations?! If I had more time on my hands, I would without a doubt read from the very beginning. I’ve only known about Gigi and Sophie onwards, but their story itself has had be gripped for as long as I can remember! You’re a captivating writer and I’m always eagerly awaiting a new chapter! Congratulations on reaching this momentous achievement! Xx

    1. Thank you, Amy. 🙂 Yes, Memphis Noble was the founder/generation 1 of the story. That seems so long ago! lol

I’m just glad you’re with me now. 😀 And that you like it! 😀 😀

  2. Sorry I didn’t comment earlier, but I wanted to share my belated congratulations on your 6th blogiversary! I remember when I started reading your story when you were still announcing every chapter on the TS3 website, and how you inspired me to start my own.
I think my favorite heir was Leo with how the story was in fact dedicated to Jilly, and I loved how exciting his life as a rockstar was. And the Chrissy drama, lol. But then I also loved Holden because he was so different from the rest, I feel, and Rosetta was super cool, though creepy. Contrary to popular opinion, I think Blue’s story was one of my least favorite, I just am not a big fan of the farm life, lol, and I just didn’t vibe with her character in other ways either. But of course it was a good story still. Okay, I am maybe just a tad bitter she did not end up with Dax…
    Again, congrats on your blogiversary!

    1. LOL Thank you so much, Jowita. You know, perhaps Blue should have ended up with Dax. I don’t know. I really did like them together. I remember how angry everyone was with Blue because she was so spoiled and only ever though of herself. lol I can see why she was unpopular with some.

I’m so glad you were inspired to start your own story. I enjoyed every minute of it, and found myself attached to many of your characters. (Can anyone say Dellie? LOL)

I really loved our adorkable Leo. lol And he loved Jilly so much. He was so much fun. 😀 And Holden was fun to write, too. But not as much fun as Rosetta! haha I felt so free writing her because she had no boundaries. 😀

      1. I don’t know if it was Blue herself or the Winchester atmosphere just wasn’t for me, haha. I was so surprised when she ended up with Matthieu, though, I felt like we barely knew anything about him as opposed to Dax and he seemed so boring. And then she went on to have so many children and I just didn’t know how she suddenly changed like that, lol. Mostly, I think, Winchester was too peaceful and I just wanted more drama haha. I do love me some drama.
I think Rosetta and Keniesha both were your strongest female characters and they weren’t even the heirs, haha. I loved them so much.
I always had trouble with Marty and Bea for some reason, I keep mixing them up and remember both were wild in some way and both were blondes. I think it’s because both had relationships with really bad guys at the very beginning of their gens and both got pregnant if I remember correctly.
As for my story, I almost mentioned Dellie because I always think of him when I mention Leo. We wrote their stories at the same time and it’s because of Leo I didn’t make Dellie a single father which was the initial plan. But then we got to explore the character of Grace which was wild. I remember wanting to do something less traditional and legacy-like after Maddie’s gen, which is why I wanted different family model. Well, I guess I did that with Sam who never got married and cared for a child and then with Ron who didn’t get married either and was in an informal relationship with Britt.

        1. Yeah, Matthieu was on the boring side. I think she thought he would always be stable compared to her up in the air childhood. Although, I think Leo was a great dad considering his career choice. lol As for drama, yes! Bring it on! 😀

I totally agree about Rosetta and Keniesha. They have always been the most fun for me because there were no limits.

I can see why you had trouble with Marty and Bea. Marty was fun for me mainly because of Xalen, and then Rosetta. But honestly, Bea was not fun for me to write. I didn’t much like writing Kara either. Which is such a shame because I want to like every generation.

Yes, I agree about the similarities about Leo and Dellie. And it’s funny how we had the same ideas for their storylines, too. But Grace was indeed wild and I don’t think I’d change a thing about how that all went. I like how you went against the typical grain. It was fun!

          1. Yeah, I can see how she’s want stability after the life she had as a daughter of a rock star!
I did enjoy Bea’s story because of the Kara drama, but it felt like Kara and her dad were main characters and not her. Personality wise I just think she wasn’t as interesting as the others. Marty was more fun to me! I loved how you explored her romance with Xalen. For me, you know I didn’t like Gemma and I didn’t much like Hailey either. They were both extreme in their own way and soo different from me. I mean, Sam was extreme too but I definitely enjoyed writing him more than these two.
Ha ha, yeah, Grace made for some drama for sure!

            1. Sam was a lot of fun for me because he reminded me a bit of Rosetta where there were no boundaries to the madness. LOL I can see why you thought that about Bea taking a back seat to Kara and Jem.

Grace was big drama and it was great! lol

  3. Awww what a fab tribute post to celebrate 6 years! That is a huge, huge deal. You’ve got a lot to be proud of here and I for one am grateful to have ‘met’ you in the blogging world, to get involved with your characters and smile when I read each new chapter. You’ve brought a lot of people together here, and that’s priceless. What will be next, after Noble Doubt?

    🎉🎉🎉 Wishing you a Happy Blogiversary!!! 🎉🎉🎉

  5. Congratulations on six years, Kymber! I know I wasn’t present for the latest generations but it really has been such a wild, exciting, and often heartbreaking ride following this family! Although all of the heirs are awesome in their own way, I have to admit Memphis holds a special place in my heart ❤

    1. Thank you so much, Lila! 💕 I can see why you liked Memphis best. Before her, I’d never used poses, and I had no idea what I was doing. But it was so much fun learning all the things I could do with her. 💕

  6. Congrats on the bloggiversary, Kym. You’re such an important part of the WP sims community – nothing would be the same without you. I’m so glad to have got to meet you and to read your story. When I thought of my favourite generation, my thoughts immediately went to Marty. I remember how hard I shipped her and lovely Xalen and I was not disappointed. I love their story so much. 💕

I’m really behind on your newer stuff, but I hope to catch up soon. Thank you for being part of the community and thank you for being you. 💕✨

    1. Thank you so much, Louise. 💕 Marty and Xalen were favorites of mine, too! Remember his sweater vests and how he thought that meant he was dressing casual? haha

Thank you for your kind words. I can’t tell you how much they, and you, mean to me. 💕💕

  7. Well done Kymber, you hit six. Think of all the special entertainment you have provided to all your viewers over those years. A puissant writer who delivers the goods. For the years of my follow I have enjoyed my visits to your site. I am grateful I have come to ‘know’ you. Blessings, Peter.

  8. Okay I bet you are thinking, she will say Jilly. Yes I have been very vocal on how disappointed I was in her demise, and how I wished we could have seen her full life. But Leo made a great heir. No, not Jilly, although I will say Jilly was only a half step down into second place. My fav has always been Blue. Blue really spoke to me and I think that is when I also started editing your story as well. So that will always be special to me

    1. I did think you would say Jilly! lol But I also know how much you love Blue, too. I’m so glad you became my editor. The story has definitely improved because of it.

  9. Congratulations! I think Blue’s story was my favorite. Also, it doesn’t have to end! You could do the untold stories! Or sequels. Or little side shoots!

    1. Thank you, Cathy! Blue’s story was probably my favorite, too. When I started it, I wasn’t sure how the drastic change of scenery would go over, but I think overall it was liked. 😀

Hey, yeah! That’s a good point! I’m sure the Nobles or their friends have lots of stories to tell! ❤

      1. The change of scenery was one of my favorite parts of it, and I also just truly loved Blue. One idea I’ve tossed around for continuing completed longer pieces is to write short stories with some of the side characters.

  10. Loved this story ever since I found it. My favorite heir has to be a tie between Leo, Blue, and Holden. I may go back and reread it again. And again. And again😉🥰

    1. Thank you so much, Hilly! ❤ Leo, Blue, and Holden were so much fun to write. Blue is one of my favorites just because of how she totally went off the rails and went to Winchester. lol Poor Leo, though, when she did it. 😀
