Metamorphosis (Newly Edited)

She trusted herself before
She had a tranquil soul
That was once upon a time
That was long ago

Now she carries her story
Gripping it soΒ bravely
A renewal of the mind
Is what she craves so greatly

With family surrounding her
Each and every day
She rediscovers the beauty
She lost along the way

The adventure is not over
There are pages left to write
She will not look behind her
The past is out of sight

Welcome back, dear Readers and Friends! This is the first poem I ever wrote while working in my art journal, and I was never completely satisfied with some of the wording I chose to use. Finally, I’ve returned to this work and rearranged some phrases. I hope you like it.

Thank you for reading, liking, lurking, and commenting,

  1. Thank you for sharing a wonderful poem!!.. just let your heart do the talking and fingers do the walking, you won’t go wrong… πŸ™‚

Have a wonderful holiday and until we meet again..
May the love that you give
    Always return to you,
That family and friends are many
    And always remain true,
May your mind only know peace
    No suffering or strife,
May your heart only know love and happiness
    On your journey through life.
