Hello, Dear Readers and Friends! As you can see, this is not a new chapter of Noble Doubt.
As I was thinking of the story, it occurred to me that I needed to refine the direction some characters were going in. Don’t worry, though, this is not a hiatus, it’s just a regrouping. π
I will see you next week with a new chapter at the regularly appointed time.
Thanks for hanging in there with me,

Always hanging in there …
LOL Tryin’. π
I’m going to do exactly this in a few months. It’s refreshing to recenter!
You’re so right about that! I’m feeling much better about things now that I’ve taken a little time to do just that.
Looking forward to the next instalment! Take your time lovely. I hope this week treats you kindly xx
Thank you, Caz! xoxo
I hope this week treats you kindly, too.
Hey, no worries! I definitely feel the need to regroup and reorder a story. Thanks for giving us the heads up! <3
I knew you’d understand. β€ They’re a lot of work, these stories of ours.
Sometimes, the characters take on lives of their own. Good luck wrangling them to where you want to go!
Thank you, Jacquie. Sometimes I work really well with an outline, but lately it’s all been by the seat of my pants kind of thing. LOL Wrangling the characters in is a good way to put it! lol
Something to give you a smile, Kymber… have a lovely weekend π https://youtu.be/D-NQ_xUl9t0
Thank you so much, Darren! I hope you have a great week! xo
Relax and enjoy your break. Knit, read, write play games and chill with your sweet kitty.
Okay β¦. I posted on the wrong site! I thought this was Louiseβs thread. Ugh. What I get for using the reader instead of going to the site. π. Happy Thanksgiving and weβll see a chapter next week! Looking forward to it.
Oh! LOL I read Louise’s post, so that makes sense. π Happy Thanksgiving, Audrey. I hope you have a good one!
Sounds good to me! π
I’m all for taking needed breaks! Sometimes, they’re the only thing that really lets us discover what we want to say!
I so agree with you, Cathy!
Thank you for sharing!!… change is the law of life, even with stories…. have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving filled with love and happiness!… π
Until we meet again…
May your day be touched
by a bit of Irish luck,
Brightened by a song
in your heart,
And warmed by the smiles
of people you love.
(Irish Saying)
Thank you! I wish for you to have a Happy Thanksgiving as well! π
Just logged in to see if there was a new chapter. Don’t worry, Kymber, we’ll be there when you feel like you’ve worked the plot out. By the way, I was wondering if there is a story about the necklace Sophie is wearing? Is it the same necklace Kai gave to her and she tried to make Gigi swap with the spelled amulet? I was going through your posts the other day and noticed she’s been wearing the necklace every chapter ever since she took over from Gigi.
Once again, you are so observant. π Honestly, I couldn’t remember which necklace Kai gave her, but yes, it’s supposed to be the one she tried to swap out with Gigi. It’s a sentimental thing for her, plus a reminder of how close she and her loved ones came to destruction. I’d say it’s kind of bitter sweet since Gigi ended up giving her life.
I was right after looking through the chapters to see if there was anything specifically said about whether or not it was the same necklace when I typed that comment. So Sophie says the following in chapter 9.5 when Gigi asks about the necklace she wants to give her: βDad got it for me as long as I promised not to break it. He took me to an art fair and when he saw me looking at it, he bought it. Iβve never worn it. But I want you to have it.β So thatβs the necklace Kai gave her, I suppose, lol. I do tend to forget details like that with my own writing as well so I often had to reread not to get anything wrong.
I should reread more! hahaha You are the bomb for pointing this out, Jowita. I love that about you. β€
Aww, I’m so glad my ability to spot random details was of use!
Your ability to spot random details is a delight to me. π
