Update

More News!

For a while now, I’ve been under the weather, and as you know, I’ve fallen behind in just about everything. So, my darling husband and I decided what better time than now to remodel our home?

Brilliant timing, I know.

Because I’m not sure how long this will all take, I’m sad to say that Noble Doubt will be on a temporary hiatus. I’m hoping it won’t be for long as I really love this story and it means so much to me. (Plus, we don’t know if Jade is having a girl or boy!!)

That doesn’t mean I won’t pop in now and again to update you on the house (maybe include pics of the progress even), or to drop a poem or two, I just can’t find the time to seriously write chapters with all the upheaval.

This is an exciting time for us because we’ve saved for a long time to do this. My hope is that it will be fun, but that I also get back to writing soon, too.

I hope you’ll stick with me. 🙂 I appreciate you all so much.

  1. I hope the remodeling went well, or if you’re still working on it, that the rest goes smoothly. If it’s not one thing, ti’s another. We did the Covid thing here at the beginning of the year, and it took me a good 2-3 weeks before I started feeling human again. We’re planning a remodel for our kitchen, so I feel your pain. We did some renovating during the first part of the Pandemic, so I got my beautiful craft room. 🙂 But yeah, our kitchen is a holy nightmare and desperately needs a complete workover.

    1. Well, what ended up happening was, we moved. LOL So that remodel didn’t happen. Rich and I were living in the country when we realized that living in the village suited us better. Now, we need to redo the kitchen where we live, but it’s a rambling Victorian which is something both of us have always wanted. It was built in 1870.

I’m so glad you are over Covid. What a horrible thing to happen. Seems like the past couple years have been tough for everyone.

      1. Yes, I remember you guys moved but couldn’t remember if if what you showed here was the old place or the (new) old place. 🙂 Oh, I feel you there. I was never much for living in the country myself. Plus, living in the village, you get better Internet service. Sounds like a great place you found – I love Victorian houses – but also sounds like there’s a lot of work to do. That’ll keep you guys busy for a while. 🙂 I completely know what you mean. We need to redo our kitchen majorly. Ours functions but it’s a holy nightmare, and I swear, the place is falling down around my ears. 🙁 Oh, I totally can’t wait to begin remodeling. 🙂 🙂 🙂

Yeah, these last couple years have been horrible. However, once I got over the Cofid, I really can’t complain about 2022, So far, so good, and fingers crossed, it stays that way. yeah, my Covid was quite terrible. Oh, it could’vae been much worse so I’m thankful it wasn’t, but it certainly was no picnic.

  2. OHH lol I hear you .. we have been doing the covid reno ourselves ..We jut got the doors all painted and up and now he is ready to move onto the bathrooms .. oh dear! Happy remodeling <3

  3. After the flooding we had from our leaky roof, we just finished and it was one room, well two if you count the bathroom, so I totally get it. Good luck! We’ll all be here.

  4. Aww! I’ll miss your chapters for the time being but we can always reread the story from gen.1 until you finish remodeling!❤️
